LG Electronic UK True HD Plasma and LCD Launch - Salt Events
Anagram was the sole technical supplier to Salt Events for the LG Electronics UK True HD Plasma and LCD launch held in the ‘Z’ Room, Truman Brewery, London.
The event was a trade exhibition, a presentation to the press and a launch party all held in the same event space over two days. The party featured Lily Allen and her band, celebrity DJ Bobby Gillespie and MC Makita Oliver.
The room design involved the creation of several themed areas within the space to display the products and then an overall set for the presentation and party.
Anagram were responsible for the set design and provided the large TV-style set which featured 7 Plasma and LCD screens from LG’s new HD range and two 10’x7’6 projected video screens. High-definition video footage and a two camera shoot were replayed across the screens. During the party a Green Hippo Hippotiser, controlled by the lighting operator, was used to play out constantly changing visuals onto the screens as a backdrop to the performers.
Sound design featured a d&b Q1 line array driven by Midas and Yamaha desks with on-stage sound from d&b MAX wedges.
Lighting used a mixture of conventional and moving lights with Pulsar Chroma Strips interspaced between the screens and around the set. Ivision RGB bricks were used to provide a lit step edge on this key set feature.
