ue is a large temporary marquee structure built in one part of the car park at Old Trafford
Football ground. The marquee can provide seated dining for 1200 guests per night and has additional reception, bar, kitchen, toilet and service areas in addition to the main structure. Each night the guests are wined and dined with a four course meal and entertained by dancers and performers before they close the evening dancing to a DJ.
The site has generated power distribution from a main and backup set and the resulting 400A 3-phase power inlet is distributed around the structures. Anagram sub divide the generated 3 phase power and distribute it thoughout the venue using our power distribution racks to form a complete temporary electrical installation.
Lighting consists of working and emergency lights for all areas and background and performance lighting for the dining and reception spaces. The exact lighting design changes each year to reflect the theme, but generally consists of several hundred conventional fixtures and 18+ moving-head intelligent fixtures around the dance floor. This is all controlled with a Chamsys MQ100 and Avolites ART2000 dimmer racks.
A distributed background PA system is installed throughout the structure with discrete higher level areas for the main stage and reception performance spaces. BSS SoundWeb and Drawmer DA6s are used to delay and distribute the sound to the various zones allowing full control of levels as the event progresses. Noise control is built into the system design to meet the environmental noise control limits that have been set for the site.
