Latest Additions for October 2007

  • Kramer VP727

A simple 8-input universal video switcher. This is in the same hire price bracket as the Analog Way Octo/Smart range, but it is a full 2-scaler engine so can do true seamless switching/fading between sources with none of the usual limitations.

  • Immense pile of cabling, lighting, power distribution and truss

There is no better way to describe this - but we have stocked up to enable us to take on a second complete Christmas marquee. There is the entire power chain from 400A powerlock incoming down to 16A-13A boards, Source4jr zooms, pinspot bars (in black now too), PAR64, PAR56, Milos 290B in tri and quad format, socapex.....and lots, lots more!

Latest Additions for September 2007

  • Barco ScreenPro-II and ScreenPro-II Control surface

screenproii200_135This has the additional scaler output option board so it can derive an extra fully controllable output - i.e. to scale to non-HD preview monitors etc. This makes it very flexible!

The controller has the tally option too.

  • Thinklogical fibre DVI video distribution system

Our initial purchase of this has a VIS-33 TX, a VIS-13 TX and 3 VIS-13 RX units with a variety of ST fibre optic cables. This enables us to send DVI signals up to 1Km.

  • TvOne C2-1350
Universal anything-to-anything video scalers.

  • Pulsar ChromaStrip2 300mm, 600mm and 900mm

Yet more Pulsar Chromastrips (I think they are breeding). We may be the UKs biggest hire source for the 1200mm version - we have loads, but there are very few around elsewhere to hire in this length.

  • Dell Vostro 200S E4400 PCs

We needed some compact desktop PCs for an internet cafe application. These are good - an ideal little compact desktop. We've got the free-standing display pods to make up an internet cafe too.

Latest Additions for August 2007

  • Yamaha LS9-16 compact digital audio mixing desk

bbc_ls9This has a 16-channel ADAT lightpipe interface card fitted and we have built up a dedicated rack for it with an 8-channel analogue I/O expander and a CD/MD player. Makes a great compact 24-channel conference FOH setup.
