Xchanging Conference and Gala Dinner
For the 4th year Anagram have provided complete technical production to JWA Events for the Xchanging conference. This year a change of venue presented a new challenge and Anagram rose to it. The first evening had a Morrocan themed evening drinks reception, for which we provided sound for the 2 piece band and lighting to enhance the theming.
A set was designed to go along the long side of the Oxford suite with three rear projection screens. A pair of Kramer VP-727 graphic switchers was used to allow all screens to show VT, but also allow the end screens to be split off for power point and cameras whilst the middle screen showed other graphic content. Two hundred and fifty electronic voting keypads were distributed to the audience for live audience voting which had been integrated into the powerpoint for instant graphical results.
The final night was a Gala dinner with live jazz band complete with a baby grand piano for which we provided sound and then a very entertaining set from comedian and impersonator Alistair McGowan. The whole room was re lit for the dinner.
Alongside the conference a exhibition was running in the Durham suite for which we also provided lighting to enhance the open space.
