Informa came to Battersea Evolution during the Christmas season and wanted an awards ceremony with a twist. A celebrity presenter in the form of 8 out of Ten Cats presenter Jimmy Carr took the lead role with two other directors from Informa presenting each award.

The twist was it was all done in the round. Two fixed cameras and one roving shoulder mounted where used. Promping was required and to work in the round four plasmas were flown high up in the roof with special covers that prevent off axis viewing. Another small prompt screen was attached to the roving camera so shots straight to camera looked great and the presenters could still see the script.
Anagram provided all technical aspects, including lighting, sound and projection for the pre, mid dinner and post dinner shows all themed around the winter Olympics. For the projection four large screens were flown around the venue walls, and six small screens were flown over the dance floor, showing
cameras and specially created Olympics style moving graphics
from a Greenhippo hippotiser controlled via the lighting desk.
The DJ played out long into the night with stunning graphics projected above the central dance floor from the hippotiser and the light show from the underlit perspex dance floor.
