Video

Video content, whether it be static graphics or moving images, is an integral part of most events. This can range from a simple projector and laptop computer for a small business presentation to a multi-screen awards ceremony showing video, a live camera shoot and graphics.

Anagram are experienced with all aspects of video involved in live events:

  • Production of video material for the event.
  • Multi-camera shoots and video mixing during the event.
  • Provision of video projectors and screens

Production of the event video material itself can involve recording of Vox-Pop interviews, or more in-depth video interviews etc. On the graphical side it can involve design of powerpoint presentations or Flash presentations.

When our clients are supplying us with content that they have designed themselves, our wide experience of producing and specifying material for live presentations is an important aid to avoid very common problems such as rendering video with too low resolution for live projection, or a colour choice that does not suit projection.

High Definition

Currently the majority of new broadcast programming is being recorded in high definition (HD) format. This presents particular issues for event organisers that wish to show this kind of content. HD projection equipment is relatively new and still very expensive to buy and hire and can be a serious drain on event budgets.

Anagram have invested in HD video processing equipment that can take HD source material and re-scale it to conventional formats to allow use of  cheaper projectors. This allows the HD media to be shown without a massive jump in budgets in this interim period while the projectors are still expensive.

The HD source material can still give a stunning image....even though the projectors aren't always true HD yet!

video_01Video mixing and switching can cover a wide variation of setups from a single laptop and projector where a holding slide is required, a simple selection of computer and video sources, or a full-blown multi-camera mix combined with switching to multiple computer and video sources.

barcelona_dscf0024We have a variety of switching and processing equipment ranging between simple switcher/scalers like the Analog Way OctoLogoFX up to full layer-based HD-compatible processors like the Barco ScreenPro II.

The final video projection itself can be via single or multiple projectors and screens, displays such as plasmas or LCDs, or outdoor LED screens depending on the application and budget. We generally specify Sanyo and Christie projectors as they give the best performance for their price-point with a good choice of lenses and associated equipment.
